We are seeking a dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive SEN school in Brownhills. 

The successful candidate will work with a small class of KS4/5 students with a range of needs, including autism, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and complex needs. Mainstream teachers are encouraged to apply, though some experience with SEND is preferred but not essential.

This school offers excellent facilities and prides itself on creating a warm and supportive environment for both staff and students. As an SEN teacher, you will join a team of skilled professionals who are passionate about providing quality care and education for students with special needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Motivate, engage, and support students with a variety of special educational needs.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff members.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS (we can assist in obtaining this).
  • QTS or QTLS (instructors will also be considered).
  • Safeguarding training (support can be provided).
  • SEN experience or knowledge (desirable but not essential).

Details:

  • Contract: Temp to Perm role
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
  • Pay rate: £130-£200 per day, depending on experience
