£48,000 - £50,000/annum plus benefits

Gilmartins is a family owned and run business; our staff are valued and our ethos is to promote from within. Our Board of Directors mostly started on the tools themselves so have a ‘hands-on’ understanding of the work we do.

We work in social housing and provide reactive repairs for local authorities and housing associations.

We are looking to recruit a qualified Scaffold Inspector who is also an experienced Roofer who has previously worked in social housing.

The role is to work across High Wycombe, Marlow and Princes Risborough.; we are looking for someone who lives in this area.

Required Knowledge & Qualifications for Job:

  • Good understanding of TG20:21 compliance
  • Advanced Scaffold Inspection Card
  • Level 2 NVQ in Roofing Occupations (or equivalent qualification) or PASMA with a Skilled Worker CSCS card.

Other Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence – not EU licence
  • Experience of working in social housing
  • DBS certificate required
  • CSCS Skilled Worker card required

The role is to –

  • Carry out roofing repairs and scaffold inspections – social housing
  • Working to Scope of Works on PDA for each job
  • Liaise with Client(s) and carry out inspections

This is a permanent full-time position which requires you to travel in and around High Wycombe, Marlow and Princes Risborough.

Hours of work are 8am-5pm Monday to Friday with 1 Saturday or Sunday in 4 required. Saturdays and Sundays are paid extra to the annual salary at standard rate.
