£35,000 - £38,000/annum Laptop, Pension, 28 Days Holidays

As the Registered Care Service Manager you have responsibility for managing an on-site team within CQC registered Supported Living services and being responsible for  ensuring the safe delivery of the very best quality, person centred care.

Key Features of the Role:

  • Ensure the delivery of quality care - continually assessing our residents’ needs and wishes and developing the service to enhance their quality of life.
  • Direct staff management and ensuring the smooth running of the supported living home.
  • Take on accountability for the home - ensuring compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements; striving to achieve the best possible care rating and other external recognition of quality.
  • Ensure the safeguarding of service users and delivering optimum levels of care and support.
  • Manage the financial effectiveness of the home - maintain the budget of the home and seek to identify opportunities to  reduce cost.
  • Take on an active leadership role - you will need to be a visible leader in the home supporting the operation and staff members.
  • Work with the operational support team to organise rota’s and ensure effective fulfilment of shifts.
  • Developing your people - you will have the opportunity to build your team, supported by a centralised recruitment and training team, who will be recruiting and developing the right people for you to grow your business and through supporting their career development.
  • Facilities & Property management of a state of the art care facility and ensuring the smooth day to day running of the home.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

- Experience of working as a CQC Registered manager for Learning Disabilities services.

- Highly driven, self-motivated and able to multi-task

- Managing teams/people and the ability to delegate tasks and performance manage/coach/mentor staff;

- Flexible and agile approach to work, with the ability to lead from the frontline

- Well versed with CQC guidelines and a proven track record of delivering positive CQC ratings in previous roles.

- Well organised and able to inspire confidence and trust in others.

- Strong IT skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel)

- Must be a car driver and car owner.
