Gymkhana are seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be friendly, personable and passionate about all things food and drink. Located in Mayfair, Gymkhana is inspired by the bars, social, sports and members’ clubs of the British Raj in India and serves contemporary Indian cuisine using seasonal British ingredients with a strong focus on the tandoori oven. Opened in 2013, Gymkhana went on to win its first Michelin star, and in 2024 the second Michelin star becoming the first Indian restaurant in London to ever hold a pair. This year, Gymkhana was awarded a second Michelin Star, having held one Michelin Star for the past ten years. In 2014, Gymkhana won Best Restaurant at the National Restaurant Awards and BMW Square Meal Restaurant of the Year.

We're looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager with a fine dining/Michelin Star background and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will be a hands-on, proactive and enthusiastic leader, injecting your personality into your work and inspiring the team to deliver a warm and memorable guest experience. You will continually commit to the highest standards of service and operations, and working closely with the management team, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the front of house team, managing financials, recruitment and team development, stock management and health and safety.

We are looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager that has:

• The ability to inspire, motivate, lead and develop teams;
• A Warm, personable and professional nature;
• Creative with excellent attention to detail;
• Passion for and knowledge of food and beverage, and the London restaurant scene;
• Working knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety requirements;
• Ability to manage staff costs and review rotas accordingly;
