We are now looking for a Project Co-ordinator to join us on a full-time, permanent basis. Internally, this role will be known as Energy Solutions Officer.

The Role

As a Project Co-ordinator, you will take ownership of various areas of energy-focused projects, working to develop new communal/district low-carbon heating business opportunities.

Specifically, overseeing an action plan of 10-15 items per project, you will allocate project tasks, support tender processes within online portals and visit project sites, recording relevant information and raising issues where necessary.

Hitting the ground running, you will communicate with clients and colleagues, create and upload documents such as PowerPoint presentations and Excel spreadsheets, and work across a wide variety of client portals to help our Energy Team win tenders.

You will work with teams across our business including sales, design, estimating and delivery teams to co-ordinate feasible low carbon design solutions and projects. Getting involved in funding processes and applications, you will also get the chance to undertake procurement and supply chain activity as well as developing practical knowledge of ground source and air source heat pump systems.

About You

To be considered as a Project Co-ordinator, you will need:


- Strong levels of IT literacy, especially with MS Office products
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to engage with clients proactively and professionally
- A pragmatic attitude
- Decision making skills and a sense of responsibility
- The ability to prioritise work and multitask to tight deadlines
- Confidence, tenacity and drive
- A high quality, service-focused approach
- A full, valid driving licence and the willingness to travel


The ideal candidate will have experience within communal and/or district heating. Experience in the Energy or Construction sectors would also be beneficial, as would experience with local authorities, housing associations and/or schools. A degree-level qualification (or equivalent) would also be advantageous.

Other organisations may call this role Energy Assessor, Graduate Project Manager, Construction Project Co-ordinator, Sustainability Co-ordinator, or Energy Project Co-ordinator.
