Chase Taylor Recruitment are currently working with a successful and trusted supplier of glazing products who are looking to recruit an experienced operations manager.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to take the next step in their career by taking on more responsibility within a business and work alongside the owners to help improve business processes.

The role:

  • Client Liaison and internal stakeholder management.
  • Leading from the front on customer care.
  • Implement best working practices to maximise efficiencies and install a customer focused culture.
  • Liaise with the Factory Floor to ensure a smooth flow of information and join up working practices.
  • Look at ways to improve production flows in line with lean and continuous improvement methods.
  • To manage people and conduct performance reviews, promoting a harmonious team working environment.
  • Provide written reports to the Directors on progress against KPI’s.

The candidate:

  • Current/recent experience as an Operations Manager in a busy manufacturing environment.
  • A technical knowledge of Glass would be highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop people
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional problem solving skills and attention to detail
  • Have a strong work ethic
  • Be computer literate
