Our client, a leading multinational manufacturing company near Rushden, is seeking an experienced Machine Setter. You will set up and operate machinery in this role to ensure optimal production performance. Salary: £30,000

Shifts: 3 on, 3 off, working 12-hour days and nights

Duties

• Set up, operate, and adjust machinery to meet production specifications and schedules.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and quality checks to ensure optimal machine performance.
• Monitor the production process and make adjustments to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Follow health and safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment at all times.
• Maintain accurate records of machine settings, production data, and maintenance activities.

Required experience

• Proven experience in setting up and operating manufacturing machinery, ideally within a fast-paced production environment.
• Familiarity with basic maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations and practices in a manufacturing setting.
