SEMH Teacher (Primary) - Full-Time (Southend)
We are looking for a committed and compassionate SEMH Teacher to join a specialist primary school in Southend. The school offers a supportive environment for children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, helping them overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
This full-time position involves working with primary-aged children, delivering engaging lessons that cater to their individual needs while promoting emotional resilience and social skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver creative and tailored lessons for primary-aged students with SEMH needs.
- Create a nurturing, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that fosters emotional well-being and personal development.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to create personalised learning plans and behavioural strategies.
- Regularly assess student progress and communicate effectively with parents and carers.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred.
- Experience working with primary-aged children, particularly those with SEMH needs.
- Strong classroom management skills and a passion for helping children develop academically and emotionally.
- A commitment to providing a positive and supportive learning experience.
