The Multi Skilled Technician will play a crucial role in helping ISS achieve its goal of becoming the world's greatest service organisation by ensuring service performance that empowers our customers through exceptional technical support.

Job Description

In this role, you will assist the Mechanical/Pressure Systems Authorised Person (AP) in adhering to Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) to carry out assurance and insurance inspections on pressurised systems within client properties at Weybridge.

This includes managing isolations and de-isolations of pressure systems, scheduled component replacements, and corrective or remedial work following any system failures.

You will actively follow ISS policies to promote a safe, healthy, and respectful working environment, adhering to technical standards and safe systems of work.

As a key contributor to achieving contractual KPIs in line with Service Level Agreements, your leadership in health and safety practices will set a strong example for the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for mechanical PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that the customer expectations are met or exceeded
  • Be responsible for other types of building services maintenance - includes basic fabric, HVAC, and general mechanical related tasks
  • Provide callout response for the client as detailed by the supervisor
  • Undertake contractor control duties - including monitoring contractors and their workmanship, so that the relevant standards are met
  • Ensure that all mechanical equipment within scope operates to specified performance criteria
  • Ensure equipment and surrounding area conforms to agreed company standards
  • Provide a professional service and represent the company in a way which ensures customer satisfaction
  • Evaluate performance and ensure the proper servicing and maintenance of equipment under contract to the company is carried out
  • Take a proactive approach to client liaison and ensure that concerns are dealt with and relayed to management as necessary

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • Experience in providing mechanical building services and inspection/testing in an FM environment
  • City & Guilds OR Level 3 Qualification in Engineering
  • Previous experience as a mechanical AP would be beneficial
  • Experience with HVAC
  • Experience working with Pressurised Systems
  • Knowledge of steam Boilers
  • Pipe fitting skills highly desirable
  • IPAF /PASMA
  • Full UK Driving License
