Our client is a family business that has been operating for over 40 years. A specialist in its field, it is renowned for being a leading manufacturer and global supplier of bespoke and innovative commercial printing solutions, all of which are manufactured in house and used in many different sectors including transport, medical and automotive. The business is experiencing a period of growth and continues to push the boundaries in its field. THE ROLE
  • Order Fulfilment (including picking, packing, and issuance of certificate of conformities)
  • Invoicing Operations (generation of advice notes, invoices, and barcodes for shipping)
  • Customer Support Management (handling tracking numbers, invoices, RMA coordination, and Purchasing collections)
  • Collaboration with Transport Partners (addressing pricing, shipping, harmonized tariff, and customs queries)
  • Health & Safety Oversight (conducting risk assessments, maintaining minutes of H&S meetings, managing inductions, first aid kits, COSHH paperwork, and record-keeping)
  • General Administrative Responsibilities (maintaining holiday records, overseeing sales order checks and holiday cover, managing Kingfisher administration, and handling ad-hoc office duties)

THE PERSON
 
This individual is a self-starter, capable of initiating and overseeing various aspects of the logistics process with minimal supervision. Your attention to detail ensures accuracy is a must.
 
Furthermore, the logistics coordinator is known for their proactive mindset, using your initiative to identify and resolve potential challenges before they escalate. Your resourcefulness and problem-solving skills are assets in navigating complex logistics scenarios. You are comfortable liaising with transport companies, handling pricing negotiations, addressing shipping queries, and resolving customs-related issues.
