Eden Brown Synergy has an exciting new opportunity for Consultant Psychiatrist to complement the existing medical workforce of a an acute mental health hospital providing PICU and acute mental health services. The Consultant Psychiatrist would be joining an expanding and clinically diverse north region, supporting their acute mixed ward.

As a Consultant Psychiatrist you would lead a multidisciplinary team of professionals from Nursing, Clinical Psychology, Social Work and Occupational Therapy and a Specialty Doctor who will form part of the Multidisciplinary Team.

The Consultant Psychiatrist will be expected to take an active role in service and quality development activities and to participate in governance meetings and Service Line meetings, as necessary.

The environment operates a non-residential medical on-call rota and the Consultant Psychiatrist is expected to participate on the on-call rota which is on a second on call basis, 1:7

Requirements for this role:

• Essential qualifications: MRCPsych or equivalent
• GMC Licence to practice (full registration)
• Evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT or be within 6 months of confirmed entry from date of interview or eligibility for specialist registration (CESR).
