Job Title: Site Cleaner & Maintenance Operative

Location: Chiswick/Brentford/Isleworth

Pay Rate: £13.15 per hour (£27,352 per annum)

Hours: 40 hours per week, working Monday to Friday 9.00am to 6.00pm

The role

In this dual functioning role, you will be working under the direction of the Regional Manager and alongside a small team. You will play a key role in ensuring the site is kept clean and tidy and is maintained to the highest levels at all times. 

Maintenance and Cleaning: 

• Take pride in the site and maintain excellent cleaning and Health & Safety standards
• Sweeping and mopping corridors and internal and external zones/work areas using a range of cleaning machinery and equipment
• Using Jet wash to clean bays and maintain pathways
• Using industrial buffing machines to mop and polish floors/corridors
• Clean out communal areas and washrooms/lavotories & customer storage units
• Carry out basic maintenance tasks on a daily basis, including basic painting of walls, cleaning and small DIY jobs around the site

Site Management

• Support Customers with requests and provide information and guidance
• Complete all reasonable maintenance and repair requests

Who we’re looking for

• Willing and able to work independently; basic knowledge of maintenance is essential - ideally someone from a Industrial Cleaning or Care taker background
• Driving Licence and access to own transport is Essential (car/van or motorcycle)
• A Forklift Licence would be hugely desirable, although (Not Essential)
• Physically fit and able to carry out maintenance/cleaning across site
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Willingness to travel across the 3 sites in Isleworth, Chiswick, Swiss Cottage & Cricklewood.
