Key Responsibilities: As Packhouse Manager, you will lead the packing department, overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure optimal performance. Your role will involve:
- Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
- Meeting customer expectations for product quality and delivery
- Supervising and developing a small, skilled team, including seasonal staff
- Managing stock control and packaging
- Driving continuous improvements in operational processes
Key Requirements:
- leadership experience, ideally in the fresh produce sector
- Knowledge of industry standards such as BRC, HACCP, LEAF, and Red Tractor accreditation is a plus
