We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an Instrument/Electrical Technician to support the maintenance and project work on pilot plant and lab equipment at Wilton.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct electrical and instrument repairs on pilot plant and laboratory equipment
- Perform system modifications and provide project support as required
- Regularly undertake trip testing, fault finding, and control panel builds
- Ensure compliance with 18th edition standards and site-specific safety and operational procedures
- Maintain high-quality work standards while adhering to safety regulations
- Proven experience in instrumentation and electrical maintenance within a pilot plant or industrial environment
- Familiarity with hazardous area installations and compliance with I.E.T. 18th edition wiring regulations
- Ability to interpret I/E drawings for fault finding and control panel construction
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
- HNC qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline
- Knowledge of Energy Control and Permit to Work systems
