Paint Sprayer / Vehicle Prepping

Location: Battersea
Salary: £38,000 to £43,000 + Overtime
Hours: 40 hours per week

Alecto Recruitment is working with an established body shop in Battersea to recruit an experienced Paint Sprayer/Vehicle Prepper. If you have a passion for quality workmanship and delivering top-tier service, this opportunity is perfect for you.

• Perform high-quality vehicle paint spraying and preparation work on a variety of makes and models.
• Prepare vehicles for painting, ensuring surfaces are smooth, cleaned, and primed.
• Mix and match paint to the exact specifications required for each job.
• Carry out necessary masking procedures before spraying.
• Apply paint coats, ensuring an even and durable finish.
• Inspect and touch up painted areas for a flawless final presentation.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure the timely and efficient completion of work.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and the spray booth to the highest standards of cleanliness and functionality.

• Previous experience in paint spraying and vehicle prepping within a body shop environment.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to mix and match paints to specific formulas.
• Proficiency in using spray guns and other relevant tools.
• Good knowledge of the vehicle repair and refinishing process.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and a team player attitude.
• NVQ/IMI Level 2 or 3 in Paint Spraying or a similar qualification is advantageous but not essential.
