DCT Recruitment have an exciting opportunity to join our client as BMS Engineer to join our team in the Shotton Paper Mill Project.

Responsibilities:

• Managing the subcontractor to ensure the works are completed in line with the project documentation.
• Reviewing of the shop drawings and coordinate with other departments to ensure full functionality of the system.
• Coordinating the material flow as per site schedule.
• Supervise installation of BMS hardware and software ensuring compliance with building codes and industry standards.
• Supervise system testing and commissioning to ensure proper functionality. Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the commissioning phase.
• Coordinate project documentation, including as-built drawings and operation manuals.
• Work closely with construction manager, contractors, and other related departments as well as attending project meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and prepare required reports.
• Ensure all BMS installations comply with relevant health and safety regulations and stay updated on changes in building codes and BMS technologies.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or a related discipline.
• Relevant vocational qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering) would be preferable.
• Membership in professional bodies such as the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) or the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) would be preferable.
• Understanding of HVAC systems, lighting controls, and energy management systems.
• Previous experience 5-8 years in building management systems.
• Experience working on construction sites and understanding site safety practices.
• Availability to work Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
• CSCS site qualification.

07:00 AM to 5:30 PM (1h break unpaid)
Salary £14.00-£17.00 per hour
