TeacherActive are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join one of our partner schools for an English maternity cover role from January 2025.  This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on the learning journey of students and be a valued member of a passionate educational partnership.

Role Overview:

• Deliver engaging and inspiring English lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure consistent high standards in teaching and learning.
• Support students' individual progress, promoting a love for literature and language.
• Participate in collaborative planning and contribute to our school's rich extracurricular activities.

What We're Looking For:

• A qualified teacher with a degree in English or a related subject and QTS.
• Experience in teaching English at secondary school level, with a passion for the subject.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
• A commitment to maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Flexibility, resilience, and a collaborative approach to working within a school community.
