Partnering with P4 Recruitment on a “temp” basis enables you to utilise your experience in a wide variety of settings across the North East supporting our region’s youth, whilst maintaining the flexibility of working to your availability.

Our mission is to achieve positive outcomes for vulnerable Children and Young People in collaboration with Local Authorities and Residential homes, by providing nurturing, safe and therapeutic environments.

To carry out this essential work, we’re looking for experienced and compassionate individuals who match the following profile;

  • Preferably 1 year+ worth of experience “on the ground” in a similar or transferable setting with Children and Young People; e.g. Residential, Independent Living, Secure, Alternative Education, Youth Offending etc.
  • The ability to “think on your feet” and adapt to meet the ever-changing requirements of trauma and adversity experienced Children and Young People, with varying complex needs.
  • Preferably a transferable enhanced DBS (a valid subscription to the “Update Service”)
  • An advocate of working in a “person-centred way” and ensuring the needs of the Children and Young People are at the heart of all work undertaken
  • Preferably a driver, with business insurance to enable the chaperoning and participating of activities and/or various appointments
