Job Role: Bandsaw Operator/Machine Operator
Location: Horsham
Contract Type: Full time / Permanent
Working Days / Hours: Monday - Friday 07:00 - 16:00
Annual Salary: £26,500-£27000
My client is a well established precision engineering firm with workshop locations across the UK.
At their Horsham location, they are actively recruiting for a Bandsaw Operator with FLT experience.
Bandsaw Operator duties:
- Cutting Aluminium and steel bar to various lengths.
- Operating high speed Bandsaws (Training will be given)
- Picking material from stock location using FLT.
- Processing job and completing paperwork
- Packaging completed order (Pack on Pallet and shrink wrap)
- Must have some experience and need FLT experience to load metal onto saw.
- Salary £26 500 to £27 000 pa
- Monday to Friday 7.00 am to 4.00 pm 1-hour lunch.
- 4 weeks Holiday plus Statutory.
- Company Pension scheme.
- Immediate start.
The successful Bandsaw Operator will have a minimum of three years experience in a similar role and be open to learning new skills and how to operate other precision engineering machinery.
