Job Description: As a School Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, hygienic, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
Clean and sanitize classrooms, restrooms, hallways, and communal areas.
Ensure the cleanliness of windows, doors, and surfaces.
Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
Follow health and safety regulations and ensure that cleaning supplies are used correctly.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Facilities Manager.
Assist in setting up and clearing areas for school events or activities as needed.
Support the school's cleanliness policies and contribute to a positive school environment.
Qualifications:
Previous cleaning experience, preferably in an educational setting.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
Understanding of health and safety practices in a cleaning context.
