Career Teachers are looking to recruit experienced and passionate Mathematics Teachers to work within a cluster of Secondary Schools in and around the Walsall area.

We are extremely busy with requests from our schools with the flexibility of working around your commitments with part-time and full-time hours to suit, as well as short-term and long-term assignments.

As a supply teacher you will:

• Deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons to pupils aged 11 to 16 (key stage 3 and 4)
• Be adaptable to cover pre-planned general cover lessons where required
• Encourage pupils to interact within the class and engage in activities throughout the lesson.
• Provide detailed feedback on pupil's achievement and progress
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with the schools policies and procedures

The role advertised is for temporary supply work.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in Mathematics or a related field
• Right to work in the UK.
• Experience in teaching Mathematics at key stage 3 and 4
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Passionate and dedicated to teaching and learning.
• Hold an enhanced child workforce DBS check on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
• Have up-to-date safeguarding training; Career Teachers offer FREE online Safeguarding training
• Provide a full 10-year career history and references to cover the last 2 years including current and previous employers.
