Are you a passionate Art Teacher looking to inspire creativity in young minds? 

Art Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver exciting and creative KS3 art lessons that inspire students of all abilities.
  • Develop students' skills in various art techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital art.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and achievement.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them improve.
  • Organise and display student artwork for school exhibitions and events.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the art department's success.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and safety in the classroom.

Art Teacher Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching art at the secondary level, though ECTs are welcome to apply.
  • A passion for art and the ability to inspire students with your creativity.
  • Strong organisational and classroom management skills.
  • A commitment to student well-being and achievement.
