Riverview are delighted to be working with Royal Free London (RFL) Property Services to appoint a Project Manager (PM) for the Service Transformation (ST) Team on a minimum 6-month contract, based in North London, Finchley area. 

RFL Property Services (RFLPS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Royal Free London Group and the organisations formation it has embarked on a journey of transformational change in the way estate services are delivered within the NHS. 

JOB SUMMARY:

The aim of the project is to increase the number of referrals to the NHS community diagnostic facility in the North London area from the Primary Care Provides/GPs. The Project Manager will have previous experience working with NHS healthcare providers and be able to develop and lead on the strategy to increase this engagement.

Ideally this role would suit someone who has previously worked as a GP Liaison Officer and has NHS experience. They need to be an excellent communicator, tenacious and used to working to their own intiative.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  1. Develop a strategy to target potential diagnostic referral contracts within the local area to increase diagnostic referrals
  2. To ensure that Primary Care Providers and other Referrers are aware of our full range of diagnostics services available at the facility
  3. Manage and maintain database of Primary Care Practitioners /providers.
  4. Identify opportunities to develop either new services or new working relationships with Primary Care providers.
  5. Work strategically to target areas and referrers that have been identified as having high potential for incremental growth and track activity and results.
  6. Create, develop and implement a marketing communications plan targeting Primary Care Practitioners.
  7. Being able to network and promote the diagnostic facility with the GPs, Practice Managers and Medical Secretaries.
  8. Maintain close working relationships with key internal stakeholders, both clinical and non-clinical to ensure that the GP, practice manager and patient experience is positive, and act upon any concerns raised in an appropriate and timely manner
  9. Monitor and report monthly on key account metrics

The post holder will be responsible for their own work, the majority of which will be self-generated and self -directed, with a high -level of autonomy and will be expected to adopt the lead in all aspects of their role. 

Key skills and experience: 

  • Degree level education or equivalent
  • Evidence of recent professional development which is orientated towards the development of commercial skills and /or significant experience in a business development role
  • Well -developed interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate, influence and motivate effectively
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Experience in project management (PRINCE2 desirable)
  • Experience working with GPs and other healthcare referrers
  • Evidence of having achieved challenging healthcare/business targets.
  • Good understanding of diagnostic testing
  • Experience of supporting the implementation and performance management of strategy and policy within a complex organisation
  • Proven ability to problem solve, analyse and manage change in a complex organisation
  • Utilise sophisticated problem -solving capabilities and critical thinking to help address management challenges and program development
  • Experience in analysing and interpreting data and intelligence to formulate engagement plans
  • Proven experience within a high quality customer service environment

This is an immediate requirement, working on a day rate basis, minimum of 6-months contract.
