Science Teacher Brent - October 2024

Apex Educ8 are looking for a Science Teacher (KS3-KS5) to join a Secondary School in the Brent area for an Immediate Start.
 

You will be joining a vibrant school which focuses on developing and growing their teaching staff through excellent CPD programmes.

The school offers a friendly and supportive environment and offers a leading NQT programme, so if you are new to teaching this is an excellent opportunity to grow and develop in your first year of teaching.

This role would involve teaching Science across KS3 and A levels

Job Specification:

• Location: Brent, London
• Job Title: Science Teacher
• Contract: Term to Perm
• Position start date - ASAP
• Full/Part Time: Full Time
• Rate: £140 – 220 p/d (DOE)
• Hours: 8am – 4pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

· QTS or QTLS status or NQT

· Minimum 1 year teaching experience of Science to KS4 in the UK or NQT status

· Overseas teachers who hold or are eligible for QTS in the UK can be considered with no prior UK experience

· Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year desirable however not essential

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

· Hold Right to Work in the UK

· Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

· Provide two professional references
