Mechanical Fitter / Senior Mechanical Fitter

£30,000 - £33,000 + 25 Days Holidays + Bank Holidays + Stake Holder Pension + Life Assurance + Paid Sick Scheme + Funded External Training

Monday to Friday Days - 40 hour weeks (Occasional Voluntary Overtime)

A Mechanical Fitter is required for a very well established and stable company.

The role will suit experienced Mechanical Fitters with at least an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent). Being in a specialist market, training on industry standards and internal requirements will be provided.

The Mechanical Fitter position will be a hands on role working in an industrial environment on a variety of equipment such as pumps, gearboxes and mechanical plant. This is a great chance to be part of a well-established & stable, leading specialist manufacturer. 

The Mechanical Fitter:

* Both preventative and reactive maintenance work in an industrial environment.
* Working on a varied range of equipment such as pumps, gearboxes, seals and pipework etc.
* Project based plant installation/commissioning and modification work.
* Statutory inspections, testing and plant integrity work.
* Using computerised maintenance management systems.
* Work in accordance with the company safe systems of work and permit to work systems.

The Mechanical Fitter:

* Experienced Mechanical Fitter from a Mechanical fitting/ engineering background.
* Able to use & interpret equipment drawings, manuals and other technical information.
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
