About the role

This role will be Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 working within our Business & Operations team whilst completing an apprenticeship.

You will be responsible for:

  • Processing customer bookings and ensuring all details are captured accurately
  • Coordinating deliveries with the planning teams to ensure efficient transport operations
  • Monitoring warehouse stock levels to help keep everything running smoothly
  • Providing excellent customer service, handling queries and resolving issues
  • Creating warehouse picks and work orders, ensuring correct product allocation
  • Data inputting and process management to maintain accuracy and order flow
  • Using DFDS IT systems to manage and track transport orders.

About you

We are looking for someone with excellent customer service skills and a genuine passion for helping clients. You should have a strong desire to learn and develop within the shipping and logistics industry, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. A keen interest in shipping, logistics, and transport operations is essential, along with strong IT skills and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
