Are you looking to take your next career step within the engineering or manufacturing industry? Our client, a well-established, family-run engineering firm in the heart of Sheffield, is seeking a Quality Support professional to join their growing team.

About the Role:

You will be supporting the Quality, Health, and Safety (QHS) Manager and Assistant Manager, playing a key role in ensuring quality standards are upheld as the company continues to expand its global client base. This position is perfect for someone with experience in an engineering or industrial environment—whether you're looking to move from a hands-on role into an office setting, or you're in an administration role ready to advance your career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating and processing quality certifications and documentation
  • Interpret and work with technical drawings, processes, and specifications
  • Enter data and create reports for the quality department
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure quality standards are maintained
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the quality function

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: Previous experience in an engineering, manufacturing, or industrial environment
  • Attention to Detail: Diligent, process-driven, with a keen eye for accuracy
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of technical drawings and quality documentation
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; experience with internal systems is a plus
  • Desirable: Knowledge of ISO 9001:2018 and familiarity with material grades and specifications (training provided if needed)
