X-RAY Cargo Screeners
Location: SOUTHALL (Post code: UB2)

AM Shift: £13.50 per hour
PM Shift: £14.50 per hour
Weekend AM: £14.00 per hour
Weekend PM: £15.00 per hour

Various Shifts Available! Flexibility required!

Staffing Match, one of the fastest growing agencies within UK, have an excellent opportunity available for X-RAY Cargo Screeners, working for our client, one of the largest airline freights distribution company in UK. The position is to operate a Freight Regulated X-RAY machine, scanning parcels / pallets / PMC freight and preparing them for export by air!

Your responsibilities as an X-RAY Screener:

• Operate Screening Machine.
• Screen parcels / pallets / PMC's
• Conduct Screening and Security checks for prohibited items
• Comply to CAA Rules and Regulations
• Follow instructions from supervisor or lead screener
• Assist in General Warehouse Duties

About the X-RAY Screener within you:

• You must be able to pass NXCT exam (National X-Ray Competency Test)
• Cargo Operative Screening - COS
• Good understanding of English, written and verbal
• Reliable with a desire to succeed.
• Previous experience as an X-RAY Screener is not mandatory, but considered advantageous!
• Excellent work ethic

Staffing Match Security Checks:

In line with CAA regulations, you will be required to undergo the following prior to commencing work:

• Basic UK criminal record check
• An overseas criminal record check will be required for any period of over 6 months in countries outside the UK
• Full 5-year history*
• 5-year address history
• If the role requires airside access additional checks and security interviews will be conducted

*Staffing Match will obtain all references, you do NOT need to have been working for the whole 5 years, it can also include unemployment / travelling / education periods etc we just need proof of what you have been doing for the last 5 years and addresses that you have been living at.
