Elevation IT are looking to recruit an IT Support Technician for one of our key client in Rotherham.

Site based in Rotherham, Monday – Friday

£27,000 - £30,000

We are keen to speak with experienced IT Technician to join our clients team. If you are a proactive problem-solver with excellent technical and customer service skills, we want to hear from you! This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong 1st and 2nd line support experience and a passion for technology.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1st/2nd line technical support, troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and networking issues
  • Maintain and support Microsoft Operating Systems, Office Suite, and Active Directory environments
  • Manage and maintain SQL Server environments
  • Perform enhanced networking tasks, including DHCP, DNS, and routing
  • Assist with PBX management and maintenance
  • Support device management through Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and Intune
  • Manage virtual environments using VMware
  • Handle backup solutions and data storage
  • Ensure excellent customer service by resolving IT issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver IT solutions and improvements
  • Organise and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects efficiently

Skill & Experience:

  • Demonstrable experience in a 1st/2nd line support role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Operating Systems, Office Suite, and Active Directory
  • Strong understanding of SQL Server, networking basics, DHCP, DNS, and routing
  • Experience with PBX management/maintenance
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure AD, device management through Intune, and Office 365
  • Experience in VMware and virtual environments
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Effective problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to IT challenges
