A great opportunity has arisen for a dedicated field service engineer to join an expanding company who are working with some of the biggest companies in the area.

Job Description:

  • Responsible for providing routine maintenance, attending breakdowns, warranty repairs and technical support to our customers on compressors and ancillary equipment.
  • The ideal candidate will be flexible and willing to undertake new tasks or assignments at short notice.
  • Although based in the North of England area, travel throughout the UK and overseas is required to meet the business needs.

Beneficial Skills / Qualifications:

  • Ability to work unsupervised and be self motivated
  • High level of communication skills with both customers and colleagues
  • Mechanical Engineering background / Ideally apprenticeship trained
  • Reciprocating compressor, maintenance and service experience preferably with Belliss & Morcom Compressors and compressed air systems
  • Electrical and control system knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot problems associated with these systems
  • Knowledge of associated ancillary equipment, dryers, cooling towers etc.
  • Prepared to be flexible to accommodate customer/business requirements.

  • Salary - £40K - £50K DOE
