Salary: £24,000 per annum

Hours: 40 per week

We are a well-established manufacturer specialising in traction and hydraulic lift and escalator controllers. Since our founding in 1984, we have grown into a leading supplier, designing and producing a wide range of controllers for clients across the UK and Europe. Our products are known for their reliability, ease of use, and innovative features, including complex multi-group systems with internet and GSM connectivity.

With over 100 employees across four locations, we are proud to support both regional lift and escalator companies and global organisations. We are continuously developing our product range, stocking a variety of circuit boards and ancillary parts to support the thousands of controllers we have in service.

As part of our ongoing expansion, we are seeking a Production, Manufacturing & Assembly Worker to join our team based in Croydon.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble lift and escalator controllers according to technical drawings and specifications.
  • Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Work alongside the production team to meet daily targets.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Report any production or quality issues to supervisors to aid continuous improvement.
  • Assist with stock management and ensure materials are readily available for production.

About You:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or assembly role, ideally in the electronics sector or a related industry.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and a proactive approach to solving problems.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes as the company continues to innovate.
