Information on the role
- Oversee M&E works, ensuring HVAC systems are installed, maintained, and operated safely and efficiently.
- Manage day-to-day HVAC maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs within the facility.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and safety standards for HVAC and other mechanical systems.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with electrical, plumbing, and other technical teams to ensure seamless integration of HVAC systems.
- Manage contractors and third-party suppliers during installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Support energy management and sustainability initiatives related to HVAC operations.
What we’d like from you
- Fully qualified HVAC engineer (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
- Proven experience in overseeing M&E projects within commercial, industrial, or residential facilities.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, mechanical services, and relevant regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex HVAC issues.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate across departments and technical teams.
- Previous experience in facilities management is advantageous.
