Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Scala Developer to build scalable applications using best software engineering practices. You will leverage strong Scala skills, write SQL and PL/SQL queries, and manage software builds and releases. Familiarity with design patterns and reactive event-sourced systems is essential for delivering high-quality solutions across multiple technologies.
Technical Skills:
- Strong Scala development skills.
- Experience in AKKA & Play frameworks in Scala.
- Sound knowledge in writing SQL queries, PL/SQL Stored Procedures.
- Strong understanding of software build/ release management skills.
- Familiarity with development patterns.
- Experience with projects in multiple technologies and functions.
- Proven experience in building scalable and robust applications.
- A background in modern OO language with good experience in Scala.
- Experienced in using design patterns and following best software engineering practices.
- Experience in reactive event source systems.
Nice-to-Have:
Familiarity with RDF and SPARQL.
Familiarity with Big Data technologies such as Apache Hadoop.
Experience in banking/financial domain.
