Paediatric Site Practitioner
Location: Central London
Contract: Full-time (37.5 hours per week), Permanent
Shifts: Evenings, nights, and two weekends per month (9% shift enhancement)
Salary: £58K-£68K+ Benefits (including pension, health cover, and excellent career development opportunities)
A leading private hospital dedicated to women's and children's healthcare is seeking a Paediatric Site Practitioner (PSP) to join their expert team. Rated "Good" by the CQC, this hospital provides exceptional care and offers 24/7 cover for acutely unwell and deteriorating paediatric patients across its wards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide visible clinical leadership and expert nursing care across the site.
- Support with the assessment and management of deteriorating patients, coordinating resources and escalating to HDU/PICU as required.
- Actively contribute to the PICU step-down process and assist with bed allocation.
- Work with the Paediatric Hospital at Night Team to ensure timely patient care out of hours.
What You’ll Bring:
- NMC Registered Child Nurse (RN Child)
- Experience in HDU/Critical Care
- Paediatric Physical Assessment Skills
- Current APLS/EPALS provider
- Ability to work under pressure and evidence of ongoing professional development
