SEN Teaching Assistant - Team Teach / Positive Handling / MAPPA Training Required
Supporting a Year 6 Child with ASD and Behavioural Needs
Location: Islington | Start: ASAP | Pay Rate: £100-£115 per day | 8:30am - 4:00pm (Early Finish on Fridays)

We have an exciting opportunity for you to support a Year 6 child with Autism (ASD) and behavioural needs in a welcoming school in Islington. Key Details:
- Location: Islington
- Pay Rate: £100-£115 per day
- Hours: 8:30am - 4:00pm (Monday to Friday)
- Early Finish: Fridays
- Start Date: ASAP

Role Overview:
- Providing 1:1 support for a Year 6 child with ASD and behavioural needs
- Implementing strategies from Team Teach, Positive Handling, or MAPPA training
- Supporting the child in their academic and social development
- Working closely with the SENCO and class teacher to create a positive learning environment
Requirements:
- Must have Team Teach, Positive Handling, or MAPPA training
- Previous experience supporting children with Autism and behavioural challenges
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
