Position:  Credit Controller (temp to perm)

Location: Hybrid working
HO is in Houghton Regis, so will need to be able to attend meetings on occasion (1 day per week or so)

Hours of Work: Mon - Thurs 35hrs per week (9am-5pm)

Rate: £14.20 -£15ph  plus holiday pay  Circa £26-28,000 when permanent)


Overview of the Role:
This fab company and team, a very well established global brand, is looking for a temp credit controller to join them on a temp to perm basis, to start asap supporting the finance team in the integral role of credit control. 

It is atypical credit control role of contacting companies that are due to pay their annual renewals of their  business membership, reminding them of their due payments and getting payments processed. Recording all transactions for review and follow up and where required, carrying out the legal processes. 

Good knowledge of credit control legal processes and procedures are essential, as would be expected. 

Good attention to detail and accurate recording of calls /communications are also integral as you would expect in this role.

Person Specification:
you will have solid experience of working in a credit control environment chasing over due payments 
you will have very good Excel and Word skills 
excellent English communication  skills both verbal and written  
you will have excellent attention to detail ensuring correct input of all communications 
you will have knowledge of the legal processes and procedures required in credit control 
a good understanding of accounts processes to work closely with the accounts team 
a self starter as you will be working remote for most of the working week 
fully Eligibility to work in the UK 
ideally qualified but not essential
