About the Company: A leading high specification residential developer, renowned for luxury projects across London, is seeking a meticulous and highly experienced Senior Buyer to join their dynamic team in Uxbridge. Projects & Materials:

As Senior Buyer, you will work across various schemes assisting with various materials with a focus on brickwork and carpentry packages. Schemes will primarily me large, high-end RC-Frame Residential mixed-use developments in the London area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently manages the end-to-end purchasing process, including issuing enquiries, analyzing bids, and placing orders to meet project delivery schedules.
• Monitors and ensures the timely receipt of information and requisitions, proactively managing any delays and their impact on procurement.
• Collaborates with project teams to provide ongoing updates on procurement status and offers insights during the preconstruction phase.
• Ensures all purchase orders are accurate, detailed, and align with project specifications and site requirements.
• Verifies that all materials purchased have the necessary certifications and approvals, ensuring compliance with design standards.
• Builds and maintains strong, long-term relationships with suppliers, focusing on value for money, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Manages existing rebate agreements and identifies opportunities for new ones, presenting proposals to the Purchasing Manager for approval.
• Conducts thorough due diligence on potential suppliers and oversees their integration into the business.
• Leads new buying initiatives, including commodity agreements, to deliver cost savings and enhance procurement efficiency.
• Supports risk management within the procurement process, safeguarding the company’s commercial reputation and mitigating potential risks.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Proven experience as a Buyer in the construction or residential development sector.
• Strong Tendering Experience
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
