Manpower Engineering is excited to be working with an international power generation company to recruit 2 Workshop-Based Mechanical Fitters for a 2-year project.
Position Details:
- Role: Join the mechanical team to build and refurbish components such as valves, blades, compressors, and turbines. You will be using hand tools, micrometers, and verniers in your daily tasks.
- Work Schedule: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Requirements:
- Qualifications: A recognised Mechanical Apprenticeship
- Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Mechanical Assembly experience
- Experience working to tight tolerances
- Strong understanding of valve work
- Experience with compressors and turbines is a plus
- Experience of using manual micrometers
