As a Theatre Practitioner, you'll:

  • Care for patients undergoing surgical procedures.
  • Provide exemplary planned care during the perioperative stage.
  • Assist in managing and organising care within the Scrub/Recovery team.
  • Act as a Scrub Practitioner across various clinical specialities.
  • Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Assess, implement, and evaluate patient care needs.

The ideal Orthopaedic Scrub Theatre Practitioner will have:

  • HCPC registration as an ODP or NMC registration as a Nurse, without restrictions.
  • At least 2 years of Orthopaedics Scrubbing experience.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Flexibility to work across different specialities on a rotational basis.
