The Role - Academic Mentor - English
You will be working as an Academic Mentor - English in a Mainstream Seconday school. Supporting Pupils in the English department that are struggling with their classwork. As an Academic Mentor - English you will be working 1-1 with low ability pupils and reporting back to the class teacher and head of department on any progression and developmemt. As an Academic Mentor you are also responsible to report back any concerns on pupils progress.
The School - Mainstream Secondary School
The school is an 'Outstanding' Mixed Mainstream Secondary School with pupils aged between 11-19 years old. The school is part of an Academy. There are 1450 pupils that attend the school. The school hours are 8.30-3.30, there is parking on site and local transport links
