SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity in Enfield- Full Academic Year

Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant for a full-time position starting in November(after half term). This role is based in a secondary school in the borough of Enfield, North London, and will run throughout the academic year.

This secondary school has been rated "Outstanding" by Ofsted and is known for its supportive, dedicated staff and excellent reputation in the local community. The school is easily accessible via public transport, with regular bus routes and a 15-minute bus ride from the nearest underground station. Limited on-road parking is also available.

The Role:

The Headteacher is seeking a committed full-time Teaching Assistant to support students with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) across different year groups. In this role, you will be providing crucial in-class assistance to help these students stay focused and engaged in their learning.

Experience working with students who have similar behavioural needs is essential, as well as a calm, fair, and positive approach. You'll also need to implement strategies that help students manage and regulate their behaviour during challenging situations. Additionally, if you have a strong background in Maths or Science, it would be a valuable asset to the team.

Key Details:

• Salary: £90-100 per day (depending on experience)
• Hours: Full-time, term time only
• Start date: Immediate, for the full academic year
• Location: Enfield, North London
