MTS Recruitment is currently looking for experienced commercial highways Electricians to start on a permanent role with one of our clients based in Hayes, West London.
Responsibilities & Duties
• Installation & maintenance of electrical installations on street furniture.
• Undertaking electrical connections to new street furniture installations.
• Installing a variety of new electrical equipment.
• Diagnosing and repairing reactive maintenance faults.
• Completing minor works and installation certificates upon completion of electrical installation or alteration.
• Completing Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) on street furniture assets.
• Ensuring quality of workmanship and company quality control systems are adhered to.
All duties must be carried out in accordance with the company's NICEIC accreditation while maintaining a high standard and quality of work.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
• 2+ years’ of previous commercial electrical experience.
• Level 3 Award – Electrical Inspection & Testing.
• Electrical Installations Certficate (18th Edition).
• G39 + 214 Safe Isolation (preferable)
• Full UK Driving Licence
• ECS Card
Package Offered:
• £45,760 basic salary (up to £22 per hour at 40hrs per week).
• Regular overtime of an average of 2 hours per day available at x1.5 of a basic hourly rate.
• Working 5 days per week, from 06:00 am to 14:30pm + weekday & weekend overtime at x1.5 available.
