We’re looking for a driven and passionate Field Sales Engineer to join their team, collaborating with clients across the East Midlands to develop innovative, industry-specific machining solutions.

Job Title: Field Sales Engineer
Location: Hybrid – Covering East Midlands (Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Sheffield)
Package: £44,000 - £48,000 (DOE), Company Car, Private Healthcare, Maternity Leave, Life Assurance, Health Cash Plan

As a Field Sales Engineer, you’ll be an essential part of the sales team, driving growth and profitability in the East Midlands region. You’ll work closely with customers to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions, all while contributing to our client’s ambitious expansion plans.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and nurture client relationships to identify new business opportunities
  • Provide hands-on product training and technical support
  • Analyze customer needs and recommend process/product improvements
  • Drive sales through creative and consultative problem-solving
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver outstanding customer service

What You’ll Need:

  • A background in Mechanical Engineering (HNC/HND not essential—your experience and skills matter)
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and cutting tools
  • Confident communicator with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Strong teamwork and creativity, with the ability to execute plans and processes
  • Full UK driving license
