The Role
We are working with a global Logistics Company nestled in the heart of Kirkby Thore, near Penrith who require Warehouse Loading Bay Operatives to join their team.
You will form an integral part of the logistics function, assisting Drivers to load their trailers, operating Ratchets and Straps to secure products to vehicles. You will be working with a team of up to 6 operatives where team comradery and banter is at its fullest, all working together to ensure the supplies are carefully secured adhering to all Health & Safety regulations together.
This is a very manual job, so all we ask from you is that you are competent at working in a fast paced, large warehouse space with the ability to load, lift and manoeuvre products by hand.
Full training will be provided for the Loading Bay Operative, however, by joining such a well-known global logistics firm…who knows where this job could take you… the opportunities are endless to progress or transfer, learn new skills, and grow into a role that only you could dream of!
And what else…the starting pay is excellent too!
Working hours
3 week rotating shift pattern - Days and Nights
6am – 3pm, 1pm – 10pm and 9pm – 6am
Pay ranges from £12.01p/h - £14.83p/h depending on shift.
