About Our Client:

They offer remedial services including insurance repairs and housebuilder aftercare. This company employ experienced professionals who make sure defects and remedial works are completed to the highest of standards. You could be working on a National House Builder site one day and then in a private residence on insurance works another. They have a reputation that is revered among some of the top ten housebuilders. They have a vast pipeline of work and look after staff.

The Role:

A Multi-Trade Operative is required to attend new build properties and undertake a variety of minor works. It could be painting and decorating, a small amount of plastering, minor carpentry, changing a lock or various other trades. None of the work is complex but requires someone who has experience undertaking a variety of jobs. You will need to prove you have the skillset to deliver a mix of jobs to the highest of standards. Projects could be new build snagging that needs sorting or proactive commercial property maintenance. You need to have worked in a customer facing role previously as you will be liaising with customers daily. You will be required to have your own suitable vehicle and tools, although travel will be subsidised. The geographical area this business work in, is across the south from West Kent to East Berkshire. Jobs are typically allocated as close to home as possible and to suit your strengths. This is permanent role but on a freelance basis, weekly pay, initially through the agency but the option to go direct after a period.

The Applicant:

The ideal candidate must have:

• Customer facing Multi-Trade experience
• Own van/suitable vehicle and tools
• A trade background, dominant trades such as carpentry and painting & decorating are most desired.

It is desirable to have:

• A relevant qualification to back up your experience.
