Site Manager
We have an new opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join a leading housing developer in East Sussex.
About the role of Site Manager
You will be reporting to the Contracts Manager and manage the construction of a new development including all house building works, ensuring that targets are met and delivery to build programme and ensuring Quality is met to all its customers.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring compliance on site at all times to the company H&S standards and Processes, NHBC standards, Building regulations and overall quality standards.
- Co-ordinating labour and resources on site to deliver the build programme
- Manage subcontractors and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Conduct regular site inspections
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the site
- Lead and motivate teams
- Monitoring and controlling the cost of production
Requirements for the Site Manager
- Proven track record of operating as a Site Manager on New Build sites
- Timber frame experience is essential
- CSCS, SMSTS and 1st Aid
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage
- In depth knowledge of all aspect of construction, H&S, NHBC requirements and Building regulations
What we offer:
- The salary on offer is between 60k-65k with a car allowance and other bonuses
