Site Manager

We have an new opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join a leading housing developer in East Sussex.



About the role of Site Manager

You will be reporting to the Contracts Manager and manage the construction of a new development including all house building works, ensuring that targets are met and delivery to build programme and ensuring Quality is met to all its customers.



Responsibilities

  • Ensuring compliance on site at all times to the company H&S standards and Processes, NHBC standards, Building regulations and overall quality standards.
  • Co-ordinating labour and resources on site to deliver the build programme
  • Manage subcontractors and ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Conduct regular site inspections
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the site
  • Lead and motivate teams
  • Monitoring and controlling the cost of production


Requirements for the Site Manager

  • Proven track record of operating as a Site Manager on New Build sites
  • Timber frame experience is essential
  • CSCS, SMSTS and 1st Aid
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to effectively manage
  • In depth knowledge of all aspect of construction, H&S, NHBC requirements and Building regulations

  • The salary on offer is between 60k-65k with a car allowance and other bonuses
