Alecto Recruitment is assisting a leading UKAS-accredited company who specialise in asbestos, water hygiene and fire safety services, who provide services to a wide range of clients, including blue chip companies, government departments, retailers, schools, and universities.

We are looking to recruit a Lead Water Hygiene Engineer in the Essex and Cambridgeshire area, in a position offering excellent progression routes.

The role:

Covering Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Essex, London and the surrounding area, the field-based Lead Water Hygiene Engineer will assist the Water Manager and Compliance Manager with overseeing the legionella division, which is experiencing good growth.

Joining a growing team of technicians who operate regionally, your portfolio of clients will include commercial, hospitality and the private sector, with daily duties as Water Hygiene technician including;

• Temperature monitoring and sampling
• TMV servicing and fail-safe testing,
• Flushing, cleaning and descaling shower heads
• Inspecting, cleaning and descaling calorifiers
• Cleaning & disinfection of pipework systems and cold water storage tanks
• Closed system water analysis sampling and water treatment
• Some remedial plumbing
