We are seeking an experienced CNC Turner with proficiency in FANUC controls to join our precision engineering team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in operating, setting, and programming CNC lathes to produce high-quality components for a variety of industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set-Up & Operation: Set up, operate, and maintain CNC turning machines with FANUC controls to manufacture precision parts.
- Programming: Program CNC lathes with FANUC control systems from technical drawings and CAD data, optimising efficiency and maintaining quality.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections of parts to ensure they meet exact specifications, making adjustments as needed.
- Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose and troubleshoot minor issues with equipment and tools to prevent production delays.
- Collaboration: Work alongside engineers and team members to achieve production targets and contribute to continuous improvement.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience as a CNC Turner, with in-depth knowledge of FANUC control systems.
- Technical Expertise: Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files.
- Attention to Detail: Strong commitment to precision and quality in machining.
- Problem Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills to resolve issues efficiently.
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with team members in a fast-paced production environment.
Working hours
Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:30
Friday 07:30 - 12:30
Pay rate
£17.00 per hour
