Our client operates an online car sales and short term subscription business and they are offering an opportunity for a Vehicle Prepper / Driver in Hull.

It is essential that you have a full UK driving licence with no more than 3 points.

About the role
As Vehicle Prepper / Driver the role involves taking vehicles to garages, carrying out basic checks on the vehicle and also meeting customers for handovers.  Responsibilities will include:

• Taking photos and video of stock
• Ensuring stock is advertised promptly on their websites
• Help with marketing locally to create brand awareness
• Sourcing parts on Ebay
• Managing vehicle preparation
• Working with local garages to service and MOT cars
• Driving cars to garages and valeters
• Carrying out road tests to check car runs and drives satisfactorily
• Reporting faults to garages
• Carrying out basic vehicle checks, tyre pressure and topping up fluid levels
• Meeting customers to handover and return cars
• Working with partner garages/MOT centres body shops to approve work
• Liaising with vehicle transporters
• Managing keys

About the hours and rewards
In the role of Vehicle Prepper / Driver you will work Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. There is a salary on offer of £11.95 per hour plus bonus (c£24,000 to £26,000 per annum, pro rata) plus Pension and 28 days holidays including Bank Holidays.

About you
To be successful for the position of Vehicle Prepper / Driver, you will ideally have a knoweldge of the motor trade and have / be:

• A full UK driving licence with no more than 3 points
• Excellent communication ability
•  Knowledge of vehicle components
