Job Advert: Electrical Engineer
CCL Global are currently recruiting for an Electrical Engineer to be close to Bristol to work on a hybrid work model. The successful applicant will be a key appointment to the project and will work within the client’s integrated Electrical Engineering Team, to lead the development and execution phase activities of Commissioning.
Location: Bristol, UK
Contract role Inside IR35
Key duties will include:
- Performing calculations upon request
- Ensuring that all the impacts of site activities on the design are well managed and identified including, Design changes, open points and redlines.
- Reporting to Electrical Discipline Manager
- Contribute to the closure of design open points after the delivery of electrical design packages to site.
- Informing other disciplines when transverse impact
- Informing checker and approver as soon as possible when answer is ready
- Informing manager when topic need escalation
Requirements:
- Degree in Elecrical or experience in Electrical Design
- Cable Sizing
- Equipment Installation (Switchboards or Transformers)
- Design of electrical Network
- Earthing and protections
- Navisworks
- Not needed but Nuclear experience is a desirable=
